About

My creative portfolio spans over three decades. Throughout my career, alongside developing a multi-disciplinary approach to my work I continue to be a prolific painter and now work fulltime on my own art practice. I exhibit internationally, have won large-scale glass commissions, am a published poet and co-run a yearly week-long Dartmoor Artists Week for painters.
I lectured at Canterbury Christ Church University in Kent for over a decade on Fine Art degree programs and on the MA, ‘Myth Cosmology and the Sacred’, and concurrently ran drawing courses at Canterbury Cathedral. I have worked with groups of artists from India to Iona, and in many different settings.
Born of a family of engineers, I started out as a freelance set builder, props, costume and model maker for film, TV, theatre, and carnival. I later graduated from a traditional art school education at Canterbury Christ Church University, (after training in the life room for 5 years), with a First Class BA Hons. in Painting, their painting prize and a baby.
I have studios in Faversham, Kent and Mugla, Turkiye. I am a yacht skipper and race a laser dinghy at Whitstable Yacht Club, Kent.
